The Kintyre Way | Tayinloan To Carradale

The fourth section of the Kintyre Way crosses Kintyre once more across to the village of Carradale, just south of the midway point on the east coast of Kintyre. A short diversion off of this route would take you to Killean Church and burial ground only a couple of kilometres south of Tayinloan.
Climbing up towards the summit of the mid Kintyre hills presents increasingly impressive views across to Gigha, Islay and Arran before descending towards Carradale to the rushing Carradale Water, by the prehistoric chambered cairn, and down through the village to the quaint little harbour.
