The Kintyre Way | Clachan To Tayinloan
Follow The Coast By Ronachan & Point Sands
The third section travels southwards from Clachan along the coastline by Ronachan House and Point Sands Holiday Park (an ideal place for camping en-route) before reaching Tayinloan which has several bed and breakfast accommodation providers.
This section is one of the best in terms of coastal views and use of the coastline for walking on the way and a welcome break from climbing up and over hills on other sections. Its a more gently pace of walk.
The end point of this section is Tayinloan, once again you can stay overnight here, decide to continue on the next section, alternatively you may wish to take time out and take the ferry from here across to Gigha and explore the island and gardens there.
