Friendly owners Frank and Janeta King will warmly welcome you to the area and help provide any information you require. Carradale hosts a number of quality hotels and restaurants as well as a village shop and bakery, post office, golf course, scenic walks and bike trails, pony trekking, local crafts, bird watching, fishing harbour, tearoom and a lovely quiet beach. In addition it is an ideal base to explore the Kintyre Peninsula and the Islands of Islay, Jura, Gigha and Arran with excellent ferry links all within a one hour drive. The golf course at Carradale offers stunning views of the Isle of Arran and is a challenging 9-holes for any golfer. In addition Kintyre offers a number of excellent courses including the championship grade links course at Machrihanish. | |
