Travel

The road from Tarbert after Kennacraig continues to Campbeltown, although the turn off is a single track road for most of the east coast route until past Carradale.

Car

The A83 turns off into the B842 which is a single track road all the way from approximately 5 miles outside of Tarbert right through to Skipness and southwards by Carradale. There are adequate passing places along the route.

Ferry

Claonaig, only a mile south of Skipness (timetables permitting) is the location of the ferry to and from Arran.
