Remember that much of the road is single track with passing places, so allow more than an hour and watch out for animals on the road. But why hurry? Relax and explore on the way.

West Coast Motors operates a service between Campbeltown and Carradale, but not north of there. Unfortunately there is no bus service linking with the Arran Ferry at Claonaig although there is a bus service from Tarbert to Skipness.
