Once in Kintyre there are is one main road which almost circumnavigates the peninsula.
Car
The A road (A83) continues from Tarbert along through Muasdale to Campbeltown and is a good road. High winds can be experienced through the winter months.
Bus
Citylink buses from Glasgow run along the A83 to Campbeltown and also from Campbeltown to Glasgow. West Coast Motors buses also have buses on local routes.
Ferry
The ferry to Gigha can be caught from Tayinloan.
